Nectar Swings into Action for Dementia
Nectar was one of three proud sponsors of Dementia Canterbury’s Charity Golf Day on Friday, 12th of April.
We also fielded a Nectar team, with Antony, Tom, Josh B and Dan D doing their best to show that IT people can play ‘real’ games, have fun, and even score a few points!
Despite the weather’s reluctance to cooperate, and with victory eluding them, the team looked the part and their spirits remained undampened as they swung into action for a worthy cause. Simon and Kathryn were there to coax golfers into taking part in the chipping game and the rest of the Nectar team did their bit by holding the fort back in the office.
It was heartwarming and humbling to know that our entire team’s efforts will help to make a difference to people from all walks of life, and their families, who deal with dementia on a daily basis.
