Founded in 1985, Molloy Agriculture’s vision is to be the most professional spraying operation in Mid Canterbury

David and Sonya Molloy began the company as owner/operators in 1985 putting on their first spray unit, a J1 Bedford. At the time David had ambitions to own a high clearance self-propelled sprayer. Today Molloy Agriculture operates with a team of 30 including seasonal staff and the company owns and operates nine Bateman Sprayers along with seven 4WD truck units covering approximately 130,000ha’s.

Following the success of the spraying business David and Sonya integrated Agronomy as part of their service which has grown to a team of 5 Agronomists.

Sustainability is at the heart of the business and on-farm recycling through Plasback and Agrecovery has also been integrated as another division.

Due to Bateman Sales and Servicing which is completed from our Methven base the time came look internally at the systems we had in place.

Technology is critical to the day to day running of the business and we engaged with Nectar to support us in this space to future proof the growth we were experiencing and better support us for the future.

We know we can trust our systems and cyber security are all taken care of and any upgrades etc are implemented in a timely fashion.
